What is CLOSED?

Effective July 13, 2020, ALL counties in California must close indoor operations in these sectors:

  • Dine-in restaurants
  • Wineries and tasting rooms
  • Movie theaters
  • Family entertainment centers (for example: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)

In addition, counties that remain on the County Monitoring List for 3 consecutive days must close the following unless they can be modified​ to operate outside or by curbside pick-up:

  • Gyms and fitness centers
  • Personal care services (for example: nail salons and waxing)
  • Hair salons and barbershops


What is OPEN?

California is currently in Stage Two of the California Resiliency Roadmap. In Stage Two, the following businesses are permitted to re-open with adaptation:

The County of Orange:

  • Retail stores
  • Restaurants (modified to operate outside or by pick-up, take-out, or delivery)
